Dental hygiene
Oral hygiene is extremely important for maintaining healthy teeth and gums and is required before any restoration work can be carried out. A thorough clean of the teeth takes around an hour and involves removing the calculus build up on the teeth with a scaler and ultrasound. Then tiny pearls are blown onto the teeth under pressure to remove plaque and discolouration and finally the teeth are polished. Any restoration work can then be started after a few days. It is recommended to have your teeth thoroughly cleaned every six months by a dentist.
