Ozone Therapy is a non-invasive, completely painless treatment for the prevention of tooth decay. The procedure involves first identifying the areas of tooth decay with a laser and then placing a specially fitted tray over the teeth and pushing ozone gas into the tray for around 60 seconds. The ozone gas kills the bacteria and dissolves the acid in the mouth. After the treatment the patient is given a specific toothpaste and mouthwash to keep the mouth free of bacteria and prevent the reoccurrence of tooth decay.
